POINT LOMA HILLSIDE RESIDENCE

When the Old Globe Theater was destroyed by fire in 1978, the Point Loma Hillside residence was used as the casts' interim rehersal space complete with an elevated stage and lighting on the lower floor. The project was completely remodeled into a 3,700 S.F. residence in contemporary style in keeping with the residences Art Deco vernacular. By removing interior walls and opening up the spaces, views of downtown San Diego and San Diego Bay are present in every room. The residence is an inspiring place to live and is the scene of many political and charitable fundraisers.
